The Barbès Site The Paediatrics and Neonatal service is part of the Mother and Child pole at the Barbès site. It is situated at the site’s third level. The admission of children is assured 24 hours a day thanks to a system of double duty for our paediatricians. One paediatrician is present at the Kléber site for paediatric emergencies and another is on duty at the Mother and Child pole at the Barbès site. Visits are permitted only from 13h to 17h (with exceptions by arrangement) to respect times allocated to care and to rounds by doctors and other medical personnel. This restriction does not apply to parents who can visit their child whenever they wish. A single visitor is allowed at any one time and only in the presence of one of the parents. . For children over 12, the rules are set in consultation with the children and their parents during admission.
The "Pink Blouses" association
Volunteers are present every day, including Saturdays, to propose activities either in patients’ rooms or in the games room. Parents can join in the various activities depending on the state of health of their child. These include games, do-it-yourself, colouring, shows, reading, mothering and singing.
